SILK SCARF GIGLIO ROSSO
The red lily grows wild on Italian hillsides, flowering at midsummer on the feast of San Giovanni — the 24th of June, when bonfires are lit across Tuscany to mark the solstice. It is a symbol of purification, abundance and the arrival of summer. In Florence, it carries a second story: in 1251, when the Guelphs took control of the city and exiled their rivals, they inverted the colours of the Florentine emblem — white lily to red, red ground to white. Dante wrote of that moment in Il Paradiso: the lily "made vermilion by division."
The Giglio Rosso scarf takes that colour without apology. The ground is a full, uncompromising red. Over it, the geometric pattern plays in white and warm coral — clean, direct, alive.
Tie it to a neutral or dark bag and it transforms the whole. The Giglio Rosso is for the woman who understands that colour chosen with intention is its own form of elegance.
